Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Registrar of Co-operative Societies in the custody of the Seed Inspector, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Registrar of Co-operative Societies; and where the Seed Inspector having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form C within forty-five days of the succession.
