Application for registration.—Every firm carrying on the business of a firm shall make an application for registration to the Director of Industries in Form D, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every warehouse receipt held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
