Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the consignor shall apply to the Registrar of Firms in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Firms shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
