Surrender of certificate.—Every authorised user of a geographical indication who ceases to carry on the use of a geographical indication shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Copyright Board in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 27 of the manner in which every certificate of registration held by him has been disposed of.
