Application for registration.—Every person presenting a document for registration carrying on the presentation of documents for registration shall make an application for registration to the Land Acquisition Officer in Form 4, within three hundred and sixty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees and a statement of every instrument held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and twenty days from that date.
