Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any manager of a joint family property dies, his legal representative shall, within forty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Central Adoption Resource Authority in Form IV, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register of births then held; and the Central Adoption Resource Authority shall enter the intimation in the register within sixty days of its receipt.
