Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of an advance authorisation shall apply to the Reserve Bank in Form ANF-2A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Reserve Bank shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
