Surrender of certificate.—Every registered office keeper who ceases to carry on the keeping of a registered office shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Registrar of Companies in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form DIR-12 of the manner in which every share held by him has been disposed of.
