Surrender of certificate.—Every insurer issuing policies who ceases to carry on the issue of policies of insurance shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Inspector General of Registration in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form G of the manner in which every franking impression held by him has been disposed of.
