Application for registration.—Every point of sales person carrying on the sale of insurance products at a point of sale shall make an application for registration to the Tariff Advisory Committee in Form IRDA-5, within fifteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every premium held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
