Application for registration.—Every overseas citizen of India carrying on the holding of an overseas citizen of India card shall make an application for registration to the Immigration Officer in Form S, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every registration certificate held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
