Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Local Complaints Committee in the custody of the Child Development Project Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Local Complaints Committee; and where the Child Development Project Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form II within three days of the succession.
