Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Registrar of Copyrights in the custody of the Assistant Registrar of Trade Marks, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Registrar of Copyrights; and where the Assistant Registrar of Trade Marks having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 5 within thirty days of the succession.
