Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the listed company shall apply to the Central Government in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Central Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
