Clause 2, West Bengal Excise (Consignment Control) Order, 2007 [SDH-DKJ]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909 (West Bengal Act 5 of 1909); (b) "manufacturer" means a person carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles; (c) "excise seal" means a excise seal received, held or disposed of by a manufacturer in the course of the manufacture of excisable articles; (d) "Form D" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
