Clause 2, Punjab Security of Land Tenures (Holding Control) Order, 2006 [SDF-P7Q]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953 (Punjab Act 10 of 1953); (b) "holder of land" means a person carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue; (c) "patta" means a patta received, held or disposed of by a holder of land in the course of the holding of land assessed to revenue; (d) "Form 7" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
