Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the informant under a statistical survey shall apply to the Official Language Commission in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Official Language Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
