Regulation 2, CERC (Appeals of Open access consumers) Regulations, 2026 [SDE-XT9]

Definitions.—In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003); (b) "open access consumer" means a person carrying on the drawal of electricity under open access; (c) "register of consumers" means a register of consumers received, held or disposed of by a open access consumer in the course of the drawal of electricity under open access; (d) "Form I" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
