Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any contractor for defence works dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Commanding Officer of the Unit in Form D, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every pass then held; and the Commanding Officer of the Unit shall enter the intimation in the register within fourteen days of its receipt.
