Definitions.—In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992); (b) "registrar to an issue" means a person carrying on the business of a registrar to an issue; (c) "research report" means a research report received, held or disposed of by a registrar to an issue in the course of the business of a registrar to an issue; (d) "Form C" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
