Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024 (Uttarakhand Act 3 of 2024); (b) "marriage bureau" means a person carrying on the arranging of marriages; (c) "declaration" means a declaration received, held or disposed of by a marriage bureau in the course of the arranging of marriages; (d) "Form III" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
