Surrender of certificate.—Every overseas citizen of India who ceases to carry on the holding of an overseas citizen of India card shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the civil authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form F of the manner in which every permit held by him has been disposed of.
