Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the civil defence volunteer shall apply to the National Authority in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the National Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
