Bye-law 2, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Inspection of The marketing of insurance products) Bye-laws, 2021 [SD4-QTY]
As at 7 September 2026. In force from 1 August 2021.
Definitions.—In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999); (b) "insurance marketing firm" means a person carrying on the marketing of insurance products; (c) "proposal form" means a proposal form received, held or disposed of by a insurance marketing firm in the course of the marketing of insurance products; (d) "Form IRDA-3" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
