Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the licensee of a patent shall apply to the Registrar of Geographical Indications in Form TM-A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of forty thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Geographical Indications shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
