Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the point of presence shall apply to the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner in Form 11 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
