Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the service provider shall apply to the Director of Legal Metrology in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Director of Legal Metrology shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
