Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the shopkeeper in a village market shall apply to the Block Development Officer in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Block Development Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
