Application for registration.—Every company carrying on the carrying on of business by a company shall make an application for registration to the Serious Fraud Investigation Office in Form DIR-12, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these regulations, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees and a statement of every share held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
