Surrender of certificate.—Every policy-holder who ceases to carry on the holding of a policy shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Insurance Ombudsman in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IRDA-5 of the manner in which every cover note held by him has been disposed of.
