Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the organiser of an election meeting shall apply to the Returning Officer in Form 2A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Returning Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three days of the application.
