Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any autonomous body receiving grants dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Finance Commission in Form GFR 41, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every grant then held; and the Finance Commission shall enter the intimation in the register within fourteen days of its receipt.
