Surrender of certificate.—Every user of a weighing instrument who ceases to carry on the use of a weighing instrument in trade shall, within ninety days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Director of Legal Metrology in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form B of the manner in which every weight held by him has been disposed of.
