Application for registration.—Every occupier carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application for registration to the Competent Authority in Form 5, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees and a statement of every document held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for three hundred and sixty-five days from that date.
