Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the manufacturer of motor vehicles shall apply to the Regional Transport Authority in Form 30 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Regional Transport Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
