Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the trustee shall apply to the Board of Trustees in Form 31 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Board of Trustees shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
