Surrender of certificate.—Every significant data fiduciary who ceases to carry on the processing of personal data by a significant data fiduciary shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Controller in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form D of the manner in which every digital signature held by him has been disposed of.
