Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of forest produce who ceases to carry on the transit of forest produce shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form VII of the manner in which every monitoring report held by him has been disposed of.
