Application for registration.—Every owner of forest produce carrying on the transit of forest produce shall make an application for registration to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in Form IV, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees and a statement of every monitoring report held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
