Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any lessee of Government land dies, his legal representative shall, within ninety days of the death, intimate the death to the State Government in Form 7, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every certificate of occupancy then held; and the State Government shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
