Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the licensee for the sale of poisons shall apply to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Form IV for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
