Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the reinsurer shall apply to the Authority in Form IRDA-2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
