Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any holder of a Government bond dies, his legal representative shall, within one hundred and twenty days of the death, intimate the death to the Directorate of Treasuries in Form GFR 25, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every audit report then held; and the Directorate of Treasuries shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
