Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any authorised user of a geographical indication dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of Maharashtra in Form 1, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every mark then held; and the Government of Maharashtra shall enter the intimation in the register within fourteen days of its receipt.
