Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a common service centre shall apply to the District Panchayat in Form 6 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the District Panchayat shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
