Surrender of certificate.—Every registered medical practitioner who ceases to carry on the practice of medicine shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Registering Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 25 of the manner in which every licence held by him has been disposed of.
