Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of a contract carriage who ceases to carry on the plying of a contract carriage shall, within sixty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the State Transport Appellate Tribunal in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 38 of the manner in which every goods receipt held by him has been disposed of.
