Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment to the post of Joint Income-Tax Officer in the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat shall be by deputation, failing which by direct recruitment; the age limit for direct recruits shall be twenty-seven years, relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time; and the essential qualification shall be a diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution with five years' experience.
