Surrender of certificate.—Every registered user who ceases to carry on the use of a mark under registration shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Registrar of Geographical Indications in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 1 of the manner in which every opposition held by him has been disposed of.
