Application for registration.—Every trader within a cantonment carrying on the carrying on of a trade within a cantonment shall make an application for registration to the Defence Estates Officer in Form E, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every permit held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
